but I think we’ll start back up with the blog. Ania’s so different now than a year ago. She’s running around the house, says about a million words and is very independent – sometimes too independent. She can hold her own against the dog, but still loves to give Mabel kisses and cuddles. Ania is absolutely the coolest, sweetest girl we could have asked for.
Ania is in daycare two days a week now and I think she has her first crush. Lukey is talked about nonstop at our house, and she always looks for him when heading to “school.” I’ve tried to remind Ryan that Lukey is just an infant, but I think Ryan is still secretely plotting against him!
More later…

It seems like forever since our last post because I swore that I wouldn’t post anything until I got the baseboard in the room installed.
I always figured that the hardwood floors would be the hardest part of the remodel. While that left me sore, it caused me few reasons to get colorful with my language. I can’t say the same about the baseboards. I said a lot of things to the baseboards and about the baseboards. I called them every name in the book. In particular I yelled out, “Jesus!” a whole bunch. Sure some people may think this to be taking the Lord’s name in vain, but really I was just asking for some assistance. During this whole process I came to realize why Jesus was a carpenter because it takes a miracle worker to so this kind of work and not swear.
Anyways, the baseboards are in and the crib is built and the changing table got lugged up the stairs thanks to our friend Chris. Now, I just have to finish painting the closet door and some shelves. That’s it for the handiwork.

It was getting dark by the time I was done, so hopefully we’ll get some better photos on a sunny day, but by then I expect a lot of the bedding will have been added and the room will look different.
