We weren’t exactly serious about naming our kid after the custard flavor of the day…that is unless the flavor happens to be Grasshopper, how cool is that?
We are still holding to the first name, but we might be changing the middle name.
The other day while looking out our front window we saw a sign that told us to stick with Ania.

We’ve been living on Pennsylvania Ave. for over a year now. Before that Jen and I lived in Pennsylvania for three years and Jen herself was born and raised in Pennsylvania, so how come it took us both this long to realize that our soon-to-be-baby’s name was right there at the end of Pennsylvania?
As for the middle name, we thought of going with something more personal, but since we did not want to give preference to Jen’s side of the family or my side of the family we decided to go with something mutual. So, we picked Madison.

Madison, CT is where Jen and I first met. We’d pick Madison as a first name, except every Tom, Dick and Harry under the sun has named their daughter that. Madison is the new Jennifer and if there is one thing Jen didn’t want is for her kid to have the same name as every other kid in her class.
So there you have it – Ania Madison Sarnowski – our final answer…for now.
Of course, she may always be known as Oodie Doodie.
